Having traveled to dozens of countries and growing up between both cultures (France & USA), Diversity is key to her artistic expression. Yaël ENIVEL believes Art is a Universal Language that surpasses boundaries, denies segregation and has no race.

When it comes to repurposing, not only does it have less of a polluting impact on Our Planet, but it also gives layers and unique stories to each Art Piece. This artistic expression allows a cultural exchange, that brings to life diversity - key ingredient to the making of The French Elk.

Through The French Elk Yaël ENIVEL uses her drawings as well as her paintings to then apply them to her new found surfaces such as abandoned wood or vintage objects. (Engraving, woodburning and resin are her favorite mediums at the moment - but that changes regularly.)

The French Elk strives to inspire and engage audiences through thought-provoking pieces, each unique and inspired by elements that already have a previous story while letting its audience imagination tell its own narrative. When repurposing is not possible, at The French Elk you will find items for sale that let the Art speak for itself, while still striving to make a minimum carbon impact.
